Canada Anemone (Anemone canadensis) - 01
(Canada Anemone (Anemone canadensis) - 01) This year, 2013, was the first time in over 33 years of living at Sleepy Hollow Lake that we have been able to observe, photograph, and identify a Canada anemone. Canada anemones are relatively rare in eastern New York, but are common in the mid-western states. However, their range extends extends from coast to coast and north through Canada.
