"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

Labor Day – 1 September 2008
By Mary T. Hoffman

Well, it’s Labor Day again. Yet there is no rest where farmed animals are concerned. It’s cruelty as usual in the slaughterhouses where, round the clock, billions of animals have their lives of misery curtailed in unimaginable suffering.

Unfortunately, for most people holidays provide one more excuse for feasting on the tortured remains of God’s creatures. And what’s even worse (if that’s possible!) is the deliberate deception of those who claim that the Creator approves of such abominations, and who lead astray those seeking the truth. It’s only a matter of “authorities” who are simply sociopaths/psychopaths trying to convert more to their psychopathology, in order to convince themselves that they are okay.

But there is a day of reckoning for everyone, no matter how hard they try to distort God’s Word. And the way the world continues to head downward, that day may not be far off.

The root of the problem lies in the cruelty with which humans treat the “least among us.” The solution? Go Vegan!
