I think it's great to challenge the Church in general to address the issue
of stewardship of God's animals. The reason my family and I left our church was because of their outwardly denial to even look into the subject.

We are still looking for a church that includes animals in its circle of compassion. While I agree that a loving, respectful, non-confrontational approach might work better, I'm convinced that the congregation has the power to sometimes lead the leaders. I wonder if the Church realizes that it's losing members due to its silence and complacency when it comes to the suffering of animals.
