Dear Sarah:
Actually, the train is like the Lord carrying us and all of our worries and
concerns, and if we just relax along the way in the Lords arms, most of the
problems will be left behind along the tracks. All we have to do is be
willing to get on.
John Wesley, the founder of the Methodist Church, also had a problem with
faith in the beginning, and he was advised to preach it until he had the
faith of his own. Perhaps you should try doing the same, and we want you to
know that we are here to help in any way we can if you need it.
I’m also and airplane pilot, and I often find myself flying in the clouds,
when there is no way of telling up or down or where you’re going, and you
can only rely on and trust in your instruments to remain safe, even to
within a few hundred feet of the end of the runway and only about 200 feet
above the ground, and then you see the runway and land. That’s doing what
Wesley was instructed to do.
Just live in the ways that you know the Lord wants you to live, and just
talk to him about anything as you would to another person, and one day
you’ll feel the Lord’s presence or hear His inner voice speaking to you.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
