Dear Marilyn:

Actually, nowhere in the Bible does it say that Jesus ate any flesh during His incarnate life upon this earth. And, there is only one verse that says He may have eaten a piece of broiled fish after His resurrection. Also there were several sects of vegetarian Jews during the time of Jesus, and everything about His teaching seems to indicate that He also was vegetarian.

We know that there is no death in heaven, and there was no death in Eden before the Fall. Jesus tells us that we are to be perfect as our Father in heaven is perfect, and to pray for Godís heavenly will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. This means that we are not to cause the death of any other living being which includes the animals.

We hope this helps.

In the Love of the Lord,

Frank and Mary
