Re: Hard Frost Warning 28 October 2007

Dear Mary.

Your blog made me think about our weather here in Frankston - Victoria (near the beach) right down the bottom (the coldest part) of mainland Australia. Coral and I have lived here for over forty years since we returned from our one year sojourn in the U.S.A. learning all about the intricacies and installation of huge Gas Engines after the discovery by Esso (Exxon) of enormous gas deposits just off the coast here. In our Pontiac Bonneville we travelled over 100,000 miles from top to bottom of U.S.A. and Canada, with headquarters in Painted Post near Corning not far from you - so I can vividly remember the winters. We were up and down from Kansas like a yo-yo. That place is even colder than New York.

The weather here! We used to get hard frosts in winter - but only mild frosts over the last four years and this year only two mild ones - but the wind has increased to the extent that we had to have our two huge (60 ft.) gum trees in our front yard cut down for fear that they would blow over and smash our house.

We are into spring and everything is blossoming early.

Climate change and our Lord's coming are here and very near.

In Jesus' name:
