Richard Adams, vegetarian athlete and Ironman race competitor, shares how transitioning to a plant-based diet helped him get rid of gastrointestinal problems. He also tells the enormous impact that visiting Farm Sanctuary had on him, especially meeting farmed animals who had been very abused by the meat, egg and dairy industries, and who got a second chance in life thanks to compassionate people.

More and more athletes are learning that an animal-based diets have no benefits for their health or performance. In fact, they learn that adopting a plant-based diet gives them more energy, endurance and health. Plant-based diets show good stewardship of our bodies, temples of the Holy Spirit.
