John Robbins Talks about the Typical American Diet
John Robbins, author of many books including “The Food Revolution”
writes about the undeniable impact of the typical American diet in our
health.
He mentions the movie “Super Size Me” where the main character ate
MacDonald’s food for 30 days and his health deteriorated rapidly.
Also, he refers to the group Physicians Committee for Responsible
Medicine (PCRM)'s new "Consequences" TV ad referring to McDonald's
high-fat menu. Robbins emphasizes on the crucial task of educating
people to take charge of their health by eating a well-balanced
plant-based diet in order to prevent and decrease the rate of our very
common chronic diseases such as heart disease, diabetes and cancer.
