We have
been so blessed with an amazing array of tasty plant-based foods that
it seems rather surprising that most people still choose to eat the
flesh and secretions of abused sentient beings causing disease and
misery throughout God’s Creation. Let’s all show with our example that
by adopting a plant-based diet we can be healthy, compassionate and
joyous!

Vegetarians Live Longer
The results of new study published in
JAMA Internal Medicine, a Journal of the American Medical Association,
indicate that vegetarians live longer than meat-eaters. The study
comprised 73,308 members of the Seventh-day Adventist Church, who tend
to adhere to a vegetarian diet, and followed their eating habits and
health issues for six years. Scientists concluded that dietary choices
appeared to play a very important role in protecting the participants
from heart disease and other chronic diseases.

Plant-based diets are ideal for our bodies! The time has come where
the scientific evidence supporting the innumerable benefits of
plant-based diets cannot be denied. And the time has come where
Christians around the world should not longer avoid the indisputable
fact that the animal agriculture industry causes devastation
everywhere, especially in regards to our spiritual growth.

is love and we are His/Her creations. Therefore, our inner essence is
one of love, which should follow a path of compassion and love. This
also calls us to be good stewards to love ourselves and our bodies,
being good stewards of it.
5. Turkey Meat Heavily
Contaminated
Research shows that eating turkey is a dangerous
thing to do. The majority of turkey samples tested have been found
contaminated with fecal matter and dangerous germs, such as E. coli,
Salmonella and Staphylococcus.

The way God’s animals are raised is
frankly brutal. It should not surprise us that nothing good may come
from abusing animals and forcing them to live in very unsanitary
conditions, and from slaughtering them as if they weren’t sentient
beings. Once again, we reap what we sow.
