1. Factory Farm Pollution
As the volume of manure increases due to the proliferation of factory farms, the threat to our planet also increases. Manure from these factory farms is polluting our waters, soil and air, killing aquatic life, sickening people and contributing to global warming. Some manure is turned into fertilizer but a huge amount of it is left untreated and therefore degrades the environment. The cost for cheap animal products is passed on to us in the form of a sick planet. As long as we continue to support the animal agriculture industry we’ll be participants of the degradation of God’s Creation.

3. UN Says to Tax Livestock
According to the United Nation, livestock emissions should be taxed to reduce the contribution made by their methane to global warming. Animal agriculture contributes to global warming more than all transportation combined. With the overwhelming evidence showing the negative consequences of animal agriculture on the environment, our health and animals, it is actually surprising most people continue to support the meat, egg and dairy industries more than ever in history. It is time to wake-up and take a look at the devastating effects a meat-based diet has on God's Creation.

"Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose trust is the LORD. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit."
It is crucial in this day and age that we trust God’s love in us in order to fulfill our responsibility and privileges of being steward of God’s Creation. Many are the challenges that we encounter and without a loving, just and compassionate heart, we are not likely to achieve much for God’s Kingdom.

Thanks to science and technology, we are now able to measure how much of an impact our choice of diet has on God’s Creation. By transitioning to a plant-base diet we can actively participate in the restoration of the environment and therefore show compassion and justice to the all God’s creatures who share the planet.
