1. Dairy Farms Contaminate the EnvironmentThe environmental problem of coping with all the fecal waste that dairy farms produce is growing fast. Much of this waste is spread over fields, where it can seep into local aquifers that supply people's wells. In Morrison, WI, more than 100 wells were polluted by agricultural runoff within a few months, according to local officials. As parasites and bacteria seeped into drinking water, residents suffered from chronic diarrhea, stomach illnesses and severe ear infections. Being good stewards of God's Creation entails taking care of our environment for our sake and our future generation's sake. Factory farming is a clear example of the love for power over animals and the love for money.

Dairy farmers are once again milking taxpayers and consumers. Congress has approved yet another bailout for the declining dairy industry, which according to the National Milk Producers Federation is facing a $12 billion decline in sales this year. This time a $350 million dairy bailout, on top of more than $1 billion in regular price-support and direct-payment programs, is set to get them out of trouble. God wants the best for us and has given us trust and hope, so that we may follow our Creator and live in obedience.
5. Ocean Depletion
Scientists predict that at the rate we are depleting the oceans soon there won't be any of the large predator fish left, such as salmon, tuna, swordfish, and Atlantic halibut. The fact is that they are being caught and eaten indiscriminately for profit and taste. Unless humanity decides to put desires aside and take on our role of stewards of the planet, the system will collapse and nature will show how poorly we have managed its resources. How miserably we are failing at being good stewards of God's Creation! Nature is screaming loudly and all the signs are there: unless we change our ways soon, the generations to come will suffer greatly for our irresponsibility.

Colin Beavan, author of the book "No Impact Man" and producer of his recently-released movie with the same title shares some helpful tips that he and his family tried and adopted in order to leave a smaller footprint on our planet, which in turned enhanced their lives.
