How sad it is that once again humans find a way to exploit animals for profit. When we forget that animals are God’s creatures to whom we are called to show mercy and compassion, we show disobedience to God, and cause misery to them and to all of God’s creation.

The Bible tells us that cruelty to God’s animals is forbidden and that we are called to be compassionate and merciful; however, chickens are one of the most abused farmed animals and still we continue to support such industry. Unless we take a stand for what is right, we will see no peace in God’s Creation.

It is often children who teach us very valuable lessons, like the love for God's animals. It is kids also that society hasn't corrupted just yet, and their hearts and souls still embrace an innate sense of justice and compassion that so many adults lost. Let's try to be good role models for our children; and therefore, be good stewards of God's Creation.
