Protest the Zerbini Circus in Dalton, MA, July 11 - 12, 2016

Once again, the Dalton Lions Club, in opposition to the preferences of the Lions Club International, will be bringing the circus to Dalton, MA on Monday, July 11th & Tuesday, July 12th. Once again, the Dalton Lions are operating in opposition to a large section of the local community by having preforming animals. This time, they are bringing in the Zerbini Circus, which has camels, dogs, ponies, a snake and a buffalo. Once again, we will be there to raise our voices for the animals. Each protest is for one hour before each show and is as follows:

On the sidewalk outside the American Legion Field on Route 9, at the same place we have been every year: 56 North St. (Rt. 9) Dalton, MA 01226

Protest Times:
(2 shows each day = 2 protests each day, one hour before each show)

Monday, July 11th: 4:00 to 5:00 & 6:30 to 7:30 PM
Tuesday, July 12th: 4:00 to 5:00 & 6:30 to 7:30 PM

We we'll have a limited number of signs so if you can make your own (without sticks per police order), that would be great!

We hope you can make as many of the four protests as you are able.

The Zerbini Circus has featured, among other animals, alligators, camels, ponies, and a bison named Tatanka. These animals are intelligent beings who perform not because they choose to, but because they are forced to under the command of human trainers wielding whips and other disciplinary weapons. This circus has been cited year after year by the USDA for failing to provide minimal care for their animals. For more information on the Zerbini Circus see:
