In the Feb. 10 New York Times article “Bison is Back, Stirring up Talk,” Turner is so self-absorbed he claims, “I used to satisfy people’s hunger for knowledge—now I satisfy their hunger for food.”

Apparently Mr. Turner is too close-minded to figure out how he could do
both—by educating people about the devastating effects animal agriculture
has not only on the doomed animals that end up as food, but on the
environment and wildlife, and by using his millions of dollars to produce
plant-based food and to open vegan restaurants.
