LeoAll Creatures Do Go To Heaven
A biblical discussion and book by Bernard J. Coombs

Chapter 1

Chapter 1

Revelation 21:5

"Behold, I make all things new...

Write: for these words are true and faithful."

The following treatise proves from the pure Scriptures that all creatures will be renewed and perfect in Heaven as well as the physical universe.

THEME contents

Chapter 1. All creatures (that means every creature) will be renewed by our God.

I was very young when my beloved first pet died. I cried and cried. Trying to console me my parents said that I would see him again in Heaven. It made little difference. Many years and much more grief later, I remembered their words and decided to search out the truth for myself from the only instruction book of life that our God needs to give us - the Holy Bible.

Here are some of the truths that I found which give me great comfort, solace and joy; as I now know beyond any shadow of doubt that my and everybody else's pets (and all other creatures that have suffered so horrendously over the past centuries and are still suffering) will be with us in Heaven and/or the renewed physical universe.

An hour or so ago I was sitting in my vinyl covered chair on the sea green slate in the hall, looking out through the wire mesh door at the pouring rain – meditating about this revision to chapter 1. The native birds were sheltering in the large gum tree and warbling away their glorious songs, when my huge Landseer/Newfoundland dog came over, lowered his head onto my knee and looked at me saying "yes master I love you too, we’re getting old but we’ll all soon be there in Heaven with our Lord."

Colossians 1:20 "And, having made peace through the blood of His cross, by Him to reconcile all things unto Himself; by Him, I say, whether they be things in earth, or things in Heaven."

and according to Vine's expository dictionary means to change from one condition to another, from one form to another, to reconcile/restore completely, to bring the whole universe into full accord with the mind of God.

it is translated in other passages as - every one, every thing, any thing, every creature, whatsoever, every branch, all manner of, and others.

LUKE 3:6

"And all flesh shall see the salvation of God."

(King James) (Douay-Rhiems Catholic Version) (New King James) (Revised Standard Version) (Others).

The word ALL here is once again our old friend PAS meaning absolutely every kind or variety.

book-1-3.gif (3066 bytes)

and means the substance of any sort of body - it is the key word in the following verse.

Some of the modern translations of the scriptures translate the word SARX as MANKIND, but it is still translated from the Greek SARX meaning any kind of flesh - beast, bird, fish or human - even reptilian or prehistoric.

Revelation (Apocalypse) 5:11 – 14

Rev. 5:11 – 14 "In my vision, I heard the sound of an immense number of angels gathered round the throne and the ANIMALS and the elders; there were ten thousand times ten thousand of them and thousands upon thousands, shouting, `The Lamb that was sacrificed is worthy to be given power, riches, wisdom,  strength,  honour, glory and blessing'. Then I heard all the living things in creation—everything that lives in the air, and on the ground, and under the ground, and in the sea, crying, `To the One who is sitting on the throne and to the Lamb, be all praise, honour, glory and power, for ever and ever'. And the four ANIMALS said `Amen'; and the elders prostrated themselves to worship." (The Jerusalem Bible [Catholic translation]).

It is used in the original Bible Greek language 21 times in the New Testament. In some other translations it is translated "Beasts", "Living Creatures", "Creatures". But in every instance it actually means ANIMALS. (the above transliteration is authenticated by Frank L. Hoffman and other Greek Scholars). This subject matter will soon be further studied and amplified in Part 4 which deals with WHEN other creatures go to Heaven.

Psalm 145:10

"All your works shall praise You, O Lord,..."

1 Corinthians 15:22 "For as in Adam ALL (Pas) die, so in Christ ALL (Pas plural) will be made alive.

23 But each one in the (it's/his) own order. (Greek Interlinear).

Luke 12:6 "Are not five sparrows sold for two farthings, and not one of them is forgotten before God?"

Acts 3:21 "Jesus, Whom the heavens must receive (retain) until the times of restitution of all things".

book-1-6.gif (2936 bytes)

from apo meaning to bring back again, to restore completely in a regenerated way.

Ephesians 1:10 "[He planned] for the maturity of the times and the climax of the ages to unify all things and head them up and consummate them in Christ, [both] things in heaven and things on earth." (Amplified).

The "climax of the ages" seen here in the Amplified version reads "dispensation of the fulness of times" in the King James authorised version but means exactly the same period of time - during and after the "Great White Throne judgement" of Revelation 20:11 and is amplified in chapter 4.

1 Corinthians 15:25 "For He must reign, till He hath put all enemies under His feet.

26 The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death."

which is translated in other scriptures, to abolish (which means annul, cancel, invalidate, negate, eradicate, exterminate, abrogate, rescind, revoke), to make of none effect, as if it never was, to bring the result of it to nought, to vanish away as if it never existed, to void - as in;

2 Timothy 1:10 "... which He now has made known and has fully disclosed and made real through the appearing of our Saviour Christ Jesus Who annulled death and made it of no effect, and brought life and immortality that is immunity from eternal death to light through the Gospel." (Amplified).

So Jesus the Christ - King of infinity will reign during the "dispensation of the fullness of times" until the result of sin and death is null and void.

Revelation 21:4 "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away. And He that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new.

5 And He said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful."

1 Corinthians 15:35 "But some man will say, How are the dead raised up? and with what body do they come? 36 Thou fool, that which thou sowest is not quickened, except it die: 37 "And that which thou sowest, thou sowest not that body that shall be, but bare grain, it may chance of wheat, or of some other:

38 But God giveth it a body as it hath pleased Him, and to every seed his own body.

40 There are also celestial bodies, and bodies terrestrial: but the glory of the celestial is one, and the glory of the terrestrial is another. 42 So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption."

and according to Vines means "heavenly, what pertains to, or is in heaven... of those whose sphere of activity or existence is upon, over or above the heaven, of `principalities and powers, of spiritual hosts of wickedness in heavenly places.'"

book-1-10.gif (2685 bytes)

meaning earthly, of earth, any kind of earthly body.

book-1-11.gif (2984 bytes)

meaning a condition of glorious life.

Anyone who has read this far should now realise that you will see your loved ones, beloved pets, and other animals and creatures again in your's and their's eternal bodies in an unimaginably glorious eternal existence - but if not, think about doing some study of your own of just how wonderful our GOD really is, and sharing your findings with us, they could expand this amazing GOD glorifying subject in a new appendix.

Here is a verse submitted by a friend.

John 10:16 "And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold and one shepherd."

book-1-12.gif (2916 bytes)

which is translated PALACE seven times in the Bible. (More times than any other fold).

Much more time must be spent on this verse.

Here are some wonderful scriptures from the -

The Hebrew word for Bible (Old Testament) is Tanakh.   TaNaKh is an acronym made up from names of the three major classifications of the books of the Hebrew (Old) Testament: "Ta" (Torah or "Law"), Na (Nevi'im or "Prophets"), and Kh (Kethuvim or "Writings").

ISAIAH/ISAIAS 40:5 "And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together: for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it." (Douay-Rhiems) (New King James) (Revised Standard Version) (Amplified) (Others).

book-1-14.gif (3096 bytes)

book-1-15.gif (2847 bytes)

it does not only mean to see - but is translated in other places as BEHOLD, LOOK, CONSIDER, ENJOY - HAVE EXPERIENCE OF.

Ecclesiastes 3:13"And also that every man should eat and drink, and enjoy RAAH the good of all his labour, it is the gift of God." (Moffatt) (Amplified) (New King James) (others).

Ecclesiastes 3:14 "I realized, too, that whatever God has brought to pass will recur evermore:

Nothing can be added to it

And nothing taken from it

and God has brought to pass that men revere Him. (Tanakh – Kethuvim).

There are many many verses in the Holy Bible which will expand this wonderful subject to glorify our great God and Lord. Send in a relevant verse for inclusion in appendix K.
